About Us
Tippytoes Baby Bank is a registered charity based in Lancashire, covering the North West.
Our motto is ‘a gift from one local family to another’ – We are gifted preloved baby items from the community and they are given out to families in need of support.
Since we launched in 2019 we have supported over 6000 families, AND saved tonnes of used baby items going to landfill!
Our charity registration number is 1187923.
Who We Are
Tippytoes BabyBank was founded by Sue in 2019.
We now have a small staff team and a core group of volunteers who have joined the Tippytoes family. They help to sort and clean donations, pack referrals, deliver items and much more!
Our babybank is open to anyone who is struggling with the costs of baby essentials. You can refer on a families behalf, or you can self refer.
Wish list
We are always in need of good quality baby items for our baby bank.
We frequently need moses baskets & stands, cots, cotbeds & toddler beds, newborn prams, strollers & doubles.

Sadly there are some items which we CAN NOT accept; these are CAR SEATS, USED MATTRESSES & PREP MACHINES – If in doubt over what we can accept then please get in touch!
Donations and
collections
Many businesses ask how their employees can support us?
- You and your colleagues can hold sponsored events where all participants receive a tippytoes medal!
- ‘Bring a Bottle’ – have a collection of all bottled baby toiletries, for example, shampoo, top to toe wash or bubble bath!
- Could you hold a ‘Baby Food Bank Day’ where people can donate any longlife baby food items including Formula!
